- Frost Heaves presents
19 Sat Oct 2013
The award-winning comedy show Frost Heaves returns with "Foliage Follies," an all-new show of Yankee humor and music, on October 11, 12, and 19. "We’re coming back, against the advice of our lawyers and folks who knew us when we had real jobs," says Fred Marple, spokesman for the town. This time out, the nonsense will include This Old Yankee House, true tales from the local police report, a look at Yankee drive-throughs, a new counseling service from Big Dog systems, and more. The Frost Heaves players will examine one of Life’s Little Mysteries, and Fred Marple will present the latest news from Frost Heaves, including the story of the cows that came to school. The Speed Bumps band plays classic oldies and, at every performance of Frost Heaves, writes a brand-new, original "Song on the Spot" based on audience suggestions. "That a real hit with the audience," says Fred. "Over the years, we’ve written dozens of songs, several of which are worth remembering."
