Site of the 2000 LPGA Standard Register Ping tournament, The Legacy Golf Resort is the former setting of Dwight B. Heard's 7,500-acre ranch from the early 1900's. Our Phoenix golf resort is rich in heritage and history, the legacy has taken great pride in preserving the remaining structures and monuments along its 18-hole championship golf course - giving golfers an added opportunity to experience a taste of Arizona history and the Heard legacy.

Course Features

Designed by renowned golf course architect Gary Panks, The Legacy Golf course's lush green fairways, forgiving rough, well-placed hazards, and manicured greens offer a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Indigenous grasses, flowers, shrubs and trees surround the rolling terrain. Its elevation provides exceptional views of Camelback Mountain, Squaw Peak and the downtown Phoenix skyline.

Clubhouse Features

In Celebration of Golf our Phoenix golf resort pro shop features designer men's and women's apparel, exclusive gifts, equipment and accessories. The Legacy Golf Resort also offers a full-service practice facility, tournament coordination, and private and group instruction. World renowned LPGA professionals Lynn Marriott and Pia Nilsson offer private instruction, personalized coaching and coaching seminars right here at our Phoenix golf resort. Lynn and Pia were both included in Golf Magazine's exclusive "Top 100 instructors" list, and Lynn is consistently ranked among Golf Digest's "Top 50 Instructors." Golf Instruction with Blaisdell Performance Systems. Blaisdell Performance Systems (BPS) is a golf equipment and instruction service company that is dedicated to each client's improvement. The principles of the company are industry leaders and each have over 20 years experience in assessing golf equipment and integrating proper equipment with state of the art instruction. At the Legacy Golf Resort, BPS offers clubfitting and reasonably priced lesson packages, designed to fit the needs of each golfer. Family and Corporate packages are also available. BPS sells equipment built only in the "Tour Divisions" of the club manufacturers and also offers re-shafting and re-gripping services. BPS trained instructors integrate the following aspects for beginners through professionals : properly fit equipment with golf swing and short game skill training and mental skill training for improvement on the
