    "Cream of the Crop" tasting!

    From 9:30am to 1:30pm, the Kona Coffee Council will be holding its annual Cream of the Crop coffee and dessert tasting competition at the Hualalai Four Seasons Resort in the Haku Amphitheater. Admission is free.

    Great Waikoloa Canoe Race

    The Waikoloa Canoe Club will be holding their 24th Annual Great Waikoloa Canoe Race at Anaeho'omalu Bay. Racing starts at 8 AM and will last until noon. Approximately 80 teams will be competing from the islands and all over the world.

    The world's largest long distance canoe race, attended by paddlers from all over the world. Two days of racing: The single-hull canoe races will be on Saturday, followed by double hull and one-person canoe races on Sunday.
