Over the years, the Top of the Park Penthouse has hosted over 400 weddings, and for each one a memory that will last a lifetime. Our dedicated staff has worked closely with every couple to make their wedding dreams come true. And we're proud to say that we've never had a single complaint! Guerreri Wedding Reception

Thank you and thanks to all of the Inn at the Park staff that took part in our daughter's wedding reception. We have nothing but praise for everyone involved, including the busy downstairs restaurant that accommodated our unexpected needs as twelve of us rolled in after the reception, hoping to be able to sit and carry on the moment.

And thank you, Jim, for coordinating every detail to perfection… The decorating and layout, the presentation and quality of the food, the "flow" of the evening, the service, your interaction with outside wedding providers, as well as your personal attention to us at every moment. Also appreciated was your willingness to share tips and suggestions throughout the planning process, all of which helped to make our event at the "Top of the Park" a lovely memory for our friends and family.

Shelby and JC's Wedding

We just received the video of Shelby and JC's wedding and we are so pleased that we want to thank you and all the staff at the Inn at the Park Hotel for a very memorable experience.

From Shelby's early months of planning with your expert guidance to the final day, it was an incredible, painless and satisfying journey. Given the distance and the e-mailing we were faced with, we soon realized that the Inn at the Park staff was truly very capable and up to the task.

For weeks after the wedding we were still hearing comments from family and friends about "the best wedding" they had ever attended.

The buffet was incredible. The waiters and bartenders could not have been more attentive. As for Mark's chocolate raspberry/strawberry cream wedding cake, it was just superb. Karla constantly talks about that cake and how wonderful it was.

We can't thank you enough for your caring, attention to detail and patience. The Inn at the Park Hotel will always hold a special place in the hearts of the Anderson's and the Leininger's.

Hagerty/Perez Wedding – Thank You!

Now that the dust has settled from the wedding I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the beautiful occasion and a long lasting, happy memory. Your professionalism and attention to detail carried us through what could have been a very stressful day. Even the weather didn't dampen our spirits and I was comfortable knowing you had it all under control and it would turn out perfectly. And it did Jim, thank you so much! From the start of the day to the end, it was a magical affair and the best part of all, it was tailored to Rochelle and Don. The DJ was fantastic, the ceremony was touching, the rose petals showered on the bride and groom – a great idea, the gorgeous view, all the amenities included with the wedding package! Your helpful tips made it run smoothly. The missing flowers moment of panic was taken care of quickly and the cake looked wonderful!

I appreciate everything you did for us Jim, as does my family and I hope to run into you from time to time in Hillcrest. After all, I work right down the street from the hotel! I would highly recommend the Inn at the Park Hotel to anyone planning a smaller, intimate wedding. The guests were so impressed by the location and view and elegance of the hotel, the food was wonderful, (one guest told me it was the best food she'd ever eaten at a wedding!) well, I could go on and on. My husband wants to do it all over again (um, no!) but that's a big compliment coming from him.

Your escorting me to the wedding ceremony, it helped me regroup and immerse myself in the wonderful moment of my daughter getting married. That was special and unexpected and just what I needed.

Using the Inn at the Park Hotel for Don and Rochelle's wedding site was the smartest decision we ever made. Thank you, thank you, thank you for our perfect day!

I loved working with Jim, the catering manager at Inn at the Park Hotel, and everyone from the chef to the waiters to the fellows at the front desk were wonderful. The day went beautifully. We had a buffet dinner – green salad, spinach salad, roasted red potatoes, chicken Jerusalem on rice (creamy sauce with mushrooms), veggies, as well as roast beef, which was carved for each guest. There were two guests with allergies who received a different meal which they provided at no extra cost. I met with Jim twice before the big day and he's organized thoughtful, and gives good suggestions. He always says, "it's your wedding so we'll do what you like." He also has a fun, quirky sense of humor so I enjoyed working with him very much. I brought some chocolate maple leaves with me to be served with the wedding cake, and Jim made sure that it was done. When my family asked questions, he'd drop whatever he was doing and take care of their needs. If I absolutely had to find something to criticize, I'd be hard pressed to do it, but they did offer to bring us a plate of food to our room at the end of the night and somehow it didn't show up. I'm sure it was just an oversight, and not a big deal at all.

I would definitely recommend Inn at the Park Hotel highly to every bride out there. You will not be disappointed.

On behalf of the family and myself, I would like to sincerely thank you and your staff for the excellent service you provided in helping make my husband, Jeff's 60th Birthday Party a huge success. Many of our guests continue to express what they call a "magnificent evening of excellent food and drinks and love that flowed throughout the room".

In particular, I would like to express my unsolicited gratitude to your Catering Manager, Jim Harmon. From our introduction, to signing the contract, to the sampling dinner, to the many questions I telephone him about, up through the evening itself, Mr. Harmon consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism and resourcefulness, thus feeling comfortable about selecting the Inn at the Park Hotel as the venue for my husband's party. Mr. Harmon possesses the qualities and attributes that are demanded from an individual who is organizing such an event. His reliability, punctuality, intelligence, high level of enthusiasm, and his attention to detail all contributed to the success of the party.

I will gladly recommend the Top of the Park to our friends and professionals interested in hosting an event. Thank you again for being one of the finest venues in San Diego County.

Perfect Wedding Venue with Old World Elegance

We visited/interviewed nearly every venue in San Diego when selecting the perfect location for my daughter's wedding. Frustration level was maximum until she saw Inn at the Park, and she knew immediately that she had found her perfect location. We didn't want a cookie cutter hotel or wedding reception, and Inn at the Park has the wonderful architectural bones with European influence which we love ..from the warm brick facade to the high ceilings, spacious rooms, tall windows, French doors. We loved the elegant lobby and felt wedding guests would feel the same effect. The reception area on the rooftop accommodated approximately 125 people nicely. A wedding ceremony at sunset and then the reception by candlelight and beautiful dimly-lit crystal chandeliers provided the most intimate, elegant, old world charm which is exactly what we wanted. I'd like to mention the excellent staff was friendly, efficient and accommodated our every wish. The rooms were clean and comfortable; wedding guests who stayed at the hotel were pleased with their rooms. Cuisine is excellent as is the brunch offered each morning. There are outstanding views from the rooftop, and we loved the idea of each suite having a kitchen.
